International Stakeholder Consultation and Testing Workshop
The GamingDRV project hosted a Stakeholder Consultation and Testing Workshop in five languages in February 2024. Bringing together different stakeholders, we presented our latest developments and put them to the test.
Feedback throughout the meeting was positive. Stakeholders liked the interface and the flexibility of the games developed. For trainers outside the driver CPC training who want to use the developed games (GLE), the easy adaptability to all kinds of different trainings is a major advantage. Each game can be filled with individual question sets in the preferred language. The trainer has full control over all games at all times and can integrate them into their training schedule as they see fit. Due to their simplicity and focus on content, the games naturally become part of the training without taking away valuable learning time (e.g. explaining game rules or complicated game mechanics). One stakeholder also mentioned the inclusiveness that games can bring to a training. The game developers at stageIT (Swedish partner) are currently evaluating collected ideas for additional game features in consultation with the consortium.
Also presented was GameTrain, an e-learning program that teaches how to train in a virtual classroom using gamified learning elements.Due to time constraints, stakeholders were asked to review GameTrain after the meeting and provide feedback through the forms.
