The Erasmus+ project GamingDRV has kicked off in the beginning of March 2022 with DEKRA SE (Germany) being the leading and coordinating partner. The project involves five partners from five European countries including:

• TYOTEHOSEURA RY (TTS), Finland
• ASSOCIATION POUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT DE LA FORMATION PROFESSIONNELLE DANS LES TRANSPORTS (AFT), France
• Transformotion, Ireland
• StageIT AB, Sweden

GamingDRV aims to strengthen gamified digital learning for learners and VET personnel in professional driver training – with high quality, innovative, gamified and inclusive digital training approaches, methods, tools and materials.

We are happy to have great associated partners for GamingDRV such as Employers’ Federation of Road Transport (FI), Tredu (FI), International Road Transport Union (IRE), French Ministry of Education (FR), Nobina Finland Oy (FI), Swedish Driver Trainers Association (STR Service AB) (SE), ver.di (DE). The associated partners will support us in quality assurance and the dissemination of the project results.

The GamingDRV project intends to develop these results:

• A virtual classroom concept and curriculum for driver CPC
• Digital gamified learning elements
• "GameTrain" – a training module for trainers for applying gamified learning elements in VC formats
• An online pool of resources for trainers and training providers
• Implementation of guidelines for virtual learning in driver training and beyond

The project will run for three years and we expect results that will transform digital training in the professional driver sector and beyond with fun and great learning experiences. We will keep you updated on the project progress. Stay tuned!
